Our Founders
Richie and Regan have been married for 17 years and live in Pittsburgh, PA with their two daughters, Alivia (13) and Myka (9). Having worked in schools, churches, professional sports and the corporate marketplace - the Reeders bring a wide-variety of professional skills and expertise to the Pressing On team. Both Richie and Regan have earned Master's degrees in their respective fields and are certified, credentialed volunteers at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. As a family, the Reeders enjoy great food, traveling, reading and attending sporting events together.
Having spent much time in the hospital caring for his youngest daughter, losing his dad to cancer as a young adult and caring for families while coordinating funerals, Richie is passionate about using his personal experience to encourage, challenge and coach other families to persevere in the midst of their crisis. In his spare time, he can be found keeping up with Pittsburgh sports and following along closely with Penn State athletics. Richie is fond of his bobblehead collection and is also an avid fan of The Office.
As a mom who’s experienced her daughter’s long road to recovery from liver transplant, she’s passionate about linking families to one another in order to cope with their ongoing needs. Regan also serves as the Senior Special Education consultant for Pressing On. In her spare time, she can be found reading Jan Karon’s Mitford Series, watching the Hallmark Channel, coaching other women in leadership and enjoying time with her girls.
